Bates, Government Meteorologist, Wellington, at 9 a.m. to-day for the ensuing 24 hours: — The indications are for variable and moderate breezes, but southerly moderate to strong prevailing. Weather misty at times on the coast, but there is a prospect of fair weather. The barometer has a rising tendency.
