Mount Victoria went four furlongs in 51sec, Altcar the same distance in 50 2-ssec. Horokiko shaped well over the schooling fences, but pulled up lame. Sir Saracen ran five furlongs in lmin 6sec, and Ladoga beat Arlington over six furlongs in lmin 18sec.
