THE MARKETS. At the Eangiora saleyards yesterday, 120 \pigs were yarded. Baconers brought from £2 ip/- to £3 8/-, choppers to £4 10/-, store pigs £1 15/ to £2, small pigs .8/- to 16/-. In the cattle'yards 60 cattle were yarded. Heifers brought from £4 to. £B, springers £6 10/-, milkers £7, £9, steers £7, calves £1 1/-, cows D. and E. £7 7/6. Store sheep: Store lambs 13/10 to 15/2, two-tooth ewes 17/-, aged ewes 8/11, merino ewes 12/2. 121 store wethers/ brought 15/- to 15/6, s.m. ewes 13/10 to 14/-, six and eight-tooth to 17/2. Produce. —Skins: Heavy crossbred 5/6, medium 4/3, lighter 3/5, lamb skins 3/9, calf skins 3/6, pelts 2/3, wool 8-1 d, fat lfd, hides 6§d, horsehair 1/-, roosters 4/6, pullets' 6/10, hens 2/3, ducks 4/9, geese 4/10, turkeys 10/-, chickwheat 4/-, oats 2/-, best grass seed 3/6, beans 3/-, peas (seconds) 3/-, sharps 9/6, bran 5/9, pigmeal 10/-, oatsheaf chaff 3/-, straw chaff 1/6, potatoes 6/6, carrots 2/-, parsnips - 4/-, apples 2/6 case, pears 2/-, plums ljd, tomatoes fd, onions sd.
