The Tasmanian Rowing Association has asked the New South Wales Association to support the application that a New Zealand oarsman be allowed to row in the ■ Tasmanian crev at the forthcoming championships in Victoria.

It is understood that the executive replied to the effect that each competitor must sign the necessary declaration as set out by the inter-State conference. This reviews the question; "Are New Zealand oarsmen amateurs according, to the New South Wales definition?"
