The following is the High Commissioner 's , market report dated London, March 17, on the wool sales: "The wool sales have closed with a brisk demand from all sections of the trade, invaliding America. The prospects are favourable for Home and Continental trade and are likely to continue so. It is estimated that the American purchases were approximately 17,000 bales, as agaMst 5,000 bales at the last sales. Some 1300 bales of New Zealand, wool were held over. Estimated values: Superior merinos 1/1 to 1/3, medium lOd to 1/-, inferior Bsd to lOd; fine crossbreds all grades 1/1 to 1/3 A, medium crossbreds, all grades, 10d" to 1/-; coarse crossbreds, all ' grades, 0d to lid.
