A COLLEGE IN FLAMES. GIRLS' WONDERFUL ESCAPES. By Cable. —Press Association. —Copyright. (Received March 18, 10.55 a.m.) NEW YORK, March 17. Two hundred, and fifty girl students fled for their, lives a fire broke out in a college hall at Wellesley, Massachusetts. Many, of thepi groped their way through the smoke . which filled the rooms and descended, the fire eseapes. Not one of them wasinjured. A hundred other college residents were also imperilled, but escaped. The slightest panic would have inevitably caused a holocaust. The college was, completely wiped out.
