"PEOPLE'S DAY.'' Press Association. HASTINGS, March 4. There was a large attendance of town and country people at the Hawke'e Bay Agricultural and Pastoral Society's Autumn Show, and delightful weather to-day. It was "People's Day," and during the afternoon the crowd numbered about 12,000 people, Mr D. A. Hay (Auckland), judge of fruit, paid a high tribute to the orchardists, and remarked that, fine aa the exhibits were last autumn, the display this year exceeded anything that he had seen/ being practically without blemish*
