TRAIN NEARLY WRECKED.

"Le Petit Journal" reports that an attempt was made to wreck a train in Egypt conveying Lord Kitchener and his guests to a racecourse. Several heavy,pieces of timber were placed on the track at a sharp turn, and the driver with difficulty averted a disaster. The Khedive's brother and members of the Diplomatic Corps were" also on the train.
