The Rev; Mr Faton, foreign mission secretary to the Presbyterian Church, has received the following cable from London::— "Well-informed sources .indicate the possibility of the Condominium being ended by the cessidn of the New Hebrides to France, as part of a larger settlement with that eoun- . try. Australian /action imperative. " . Mr Paton, in an interview, said the cable came from .an unimpeachable source, and was a call for. fresh effort. He added: "We are taking every step possible to place ,the gravity of the position before the authorities."
