PIRATE SHIPPE DANCE THIRD ANNUAL FUNCTION In the absence of the Hon. E. W. Alison, M.L.C., a director of the North Shore Transport Company, the Mayor of Takapuna, Mr. J. W. Williamson, officially opened the third annual ball of the Transport Employees’ Social and Benefit Club at the Pirate Shippe, Milford, last evening. The hall was hung with ballons and streamers, in which the company’s colours of green and yellow predominated. Music was supplied by Bartley's Pirate Shippe Band. Supper was served on the upper deck, part of which was also used as. a lounge. Arrangements wyro in the hands of a committee comprising Messrs. A. Bartley, A. E. Jarvis, R. Batye, W. Taylor, J. Patterson and J. T. Boyle (secretary). Among the guests were employees of the Otahuhu Bus Company. Present were: Mrs. J. W. Williamson, who wore black lace: Mrs. George Prentice, blade chiffon and lace and panne coatee; Mrs. W. Annitage, airforce blue georgette and diament e trimming; Mrs. G. C.
