BURGLARY AT MATAMATA

MONEY AND CHEQUES STOLEN From Our Own Correspondent MATAMATA, Monday. Some time on Saturday night the garage of Willis Bros., Ltd., Broadway, was broken into and cash to the amount of £l2 and two cheques were stolen. A hole was bored in the back, door of the premises, big enough for a hand to be inserted to turn the lock. An attempt was also made to enter the premises of Mr. B. Roberts, a broken key being found in the lock of a door.
