RANDWICK W.F.A. PROSPECTS ONLY PHAR LAP AND NIGHTMARCH? It is possible that Arhounis, Phar Lap and Nightrnarch could tight their Warwick Farm battle over again in the Spring Stakes on the opening clay (October 4) at Randwick, but it is improbable. Amounis is in Melbourne, and there are two doubts about him; whether’ j he will return to Sydney for the A.J.C. ' meeting 1 , and, if he does, whether he ; will not contest the Epsom Handicap i on the same day as the Spring Stakes is decided. This will leave Phar Lap and Nightmarch in opposition and after War- ! wick Farm running and the Chelmsj ford Stakes last Saturday, the layers t are not likely to be so liberal with i Phar Lap.
