NEW STATION INSPECTED
An inspection of the new Auckland railway station was made yesterday by the Minister of Railways, the Hon. W. A. Veitch, who arrived yesterday on a short visit. In company with Mr. E. Casey, divisional superintendent, and other departmental officers, he also inspected the Otahuhu workshops. The Minister addressed a meeting of the Auckland provincial executive of the United Party last evening. The Ministerial party, which is staying at the Central Hotel, will leave for the South tomorrow evening by the Limited.
