DAYLIGHT SAVING NO EARLIER AUCKLAND NOT FAVOURED From Our Own Correspondent CHRISTCHURCH, Today. The suggestion'that in order to aid the electric power situation in Auckland daylight saving should be introduced earlier this year will not be adopted by the Government, as it would affect the whole of the arrangements throughout the Dominion. This statement was made by the Prime Minister, the Hon. G. W. Forbes, last evening.
