TRANSPORT BOARD’S REPLY TO PETITION In reply to a petition by ratepayers and residents of Balmoral and the surrounding district for a "floating section” between Halston Road and Balmoral Road, the Transport Board decided in committee, antk reported today, that it could not grant the request. “The board must decline any such request which means a change in policy until the present programme of works is completed,” was the answer the board decided upon.
