DIRECTORS SAID TO RECEIVE £IB,OOO ON RETIRING SCANDAL IN SYDNEY SYDNEY, Wednesday. Another case of alleged insurance frauds is being investigated in the Sydney Police Court. Clarence Hogue, aged 51, company secretary; Arthur Roche, 45, manager; Vivian Partridge, 38, director; and Arthur Gardner, 3G, clerk, are charged with conspiracy to defraud policyholders In the Federal Building Assurance Company, Ltd., and other insurance organisations. The prosecuting counsel stated that when one company was sold to another, two of the defendants, on retiring from the directorate of the company which had been sold, received £IB,OOO.
