SATIN AND SILVER LACE
OTAHUHU BRIDE PROCTOR—TIRRELL The Holy Trinity Church, Ot«huhu, was the scene of a pretty wedding on Wednesday evening, when Mildred, the youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. W Tirrell of 19, Mangere Road, Otahuhu, was married to Leornard, the eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. A. G. Proctor, of Wellsford. The officiating clergyman was the Rev. F. C. Truman, and Mr. White presided at the organ. The bride, who was given away by her brother, Mr. Walter Tirrell, wore a dainty frock of ivory satin, and silver lace. Her prettily embroidered veil was held in place by a coronet of orang- blossom, and fell in soft folds to form a train. She carried a shower bouquet of pale tinted flowers from which hung streamers of tulle. Miss Ada Ford attended as maid, frocked in lichen green satin carreau, worn under an overdress of lace, she wore a pretty picture hat to tone-and her bouquet was of autumn tinted flowers. Mr. Reg. Tirrell acted as best man. The reception was held at "the Kingsford Hall, which had been decorated with masses of blooms, intermingled with fronds of asparagus fern. The bride’s mother wore a frock of black georgette, relieved with gold, and a small black hat. She carried a posy of violets. Mrs. Proctor’s frock was of black panne velvet, and she wore a hat to match. The bride travelled in an ensemble of nut-brown silk repp, with trimmings of braid, worn under a brown fur trimmed coat, and her hat matched her frock.
