CREDIT BY FRAUD
TRAVELLER REMANDED Charged with obtaining credit amounting to £lO los by fraud. Frank James Price, a traveller, aged 38, who appeared at the Police Court today, was remanded until Monday, to enable further inquiries to be made. Chief-Detective Hammond said that Price, who pleaded guilty, "pitched a tale” at two different hotels and secured board. "He’s strong and able-bodied.’’ said the chief-detective. "There’s no reason why he doesn’t work.” Mr. Hunt: I’ll remand him until Monday morning until we find out something about him.
