NOVEL BURGLAR TRAP
FALLING WINDOW ALARMS l INTRUDER LEFT WITHOUT REWARD Something novel in burglar traps *xvas in operation at the office o£ the Mt. Roskill Road Board, Mt. Albert Road, during the week-end and it ia possible that the police will be looking for a man with an injured band. The intruder forced a side window *dth a jemmy. The top sash of the ■window, which had broken sash-cords, must then have fallen with a crash, as the glass was found this morning shattered from the window frame as the result of the fall. Nothing was stolen from the office. There was no money left on the premises, a visit to the bafnk having been made before the office was closed for the week-end.
