SALES IN LONDON PRICES FIRM United P.A.—By Telegraph Copyright Reed. 1.15 p.m. LONDON, Wednesday. At the tallow sales, 930 casks were offered and 592 were sold. lVices were unchanged. At the wool sales 10,098 bales were offered, including 3,516 from New Zealand. About 8,180 were sold. There was a good selection of greasy Merino, principally spinners’ wools, and a good supply of line and medium greasy crossbreds. There was brisk competition for Merinos which were occasionally slightly dearer than yesterday. Crossbreds were fully firm. New Zealand sold: Greasy crossbreds, WP/P, 10id and 92d; Matura, 10Jd and 9Jd: Ma If bred, MacDonald Downs. 123 d and llijd; Merino, Muller, 115 d and lid.
