Cheery Dinner

MEMBERS OF HOCKEY ASSOCIATION HONOUR LIFE-MEMBERS

MUSICAL programme: On Saturday evening last many members of the Auckland Ladies’ Hockey Association attendad a dinner at the Albert Hotel for the purpose of honouring the association’s two life members, Mesdames W. Fuller and R. H. Cowen, who were presented with their life member's badges by Mr. L. C. Kent, president of the association. The tables were very artistically decorated by Mrs. Webber with large bowls of Iceland poppies and violels and other flowers lent colour to the tables, which also bore the association’s colours carried out in crossed ribbon streamers of blue and white. In making the presentation to Mrs. Fuller and Mrs. Cowen, Air. Kent spoke of the untiring - assitance given and keen interest taken in all the association’s activities by them.
