KING’S BEATS TAKAPUNA Superiority of its back division enabled King’s College to defeat Takapuna Grammar yesterday by a substantial margin of 24 points to 9. For King’s. Caughey (2), Richardson, and McCarthy scored tries, Coles converting three and kicking two penalty goals. Fade and Amodeo registered tries for Takapuna Grammar and Frazer kicked a penalty goal. In a third grade game, King’s defeated Takapuna Grammar by 13 points to 3.
