HAD WEEK IN GAOL After a week in gaol on remand. John Quigley appeared in the Police Court this morning for sentence on teharge of theft. He was admitted to probation for 12 months. Quigley, a labourer, aged 23, wai charged with the theft of a gramophone valued at £9 from Horace Robinson on Juno 20. “This is your last chance. If yot come here again you will get nix months,” said the magistrate, Mr. T'. K. Hunt, S.M. Admitting accused to probation, Mr. Hunt added that Quigley was now automatically prohibited.
