BANDITS IN CHARGE

Bandits armed with rifles reported to number 100 and asserting themselves to number 400, #eized the Conscuez mine, which produces many of the world’s finest emeralds. The bandits, firmly entrenched, seized the garrison, which half are guarding, while the others work the rich deposits. Government troops and police are rushit-F to the scene, and a clash is expected any moment. Bandits sent a communication to the troops: “We are ready to kill if we are attacked.”
