ZEPPELIN’S PROGRESS
WILL BLAZE TRAIL LATER ON TOURIST FLIGHTS TIES UP AT PERNAMBUCO Reed. 9.5 a.m. NEW YORK, Monday. A message from Pernambuco, Brazil, says the Graf Zeppelin arrived there this morning. The dirigible Los Angeles at New York tomorrow will test the mooring mast for the Graf Zeppelin. The mast is mounted on three heavy caterpillar rollers drawn by a tractor, and can be drawn into the hangar with the airship attached. Mr. F. W. von Meister, of New York, representative in America for the Zeppelin, states that after her return to Friedrichshafen she. will commence an extensive series of trailblazing flights. She will go to the Arctic Circle three times this summer, and will visit Tromso, Iceland, Spitzbergen, and make several trips to the Mediterranean, the Baltic and other points, carrying tourists.
