“The Canary Murder Case” continues to thrill audiences at the Victoria Theatre, Devonport. This is one of the exciting S.S. Van Dine murder stories, with Philo Vance in his role of amateur criminologist. The story concerns the murder of a New York chorus-girl, and six men had both the opportunity and the motive to commit the murder. Leading roles are played by William Powell, Louise Brooks, Jean Arthur, and Charles Lane. Bright supporting items are also being shown.
