DEATH OF CYCLIST

OPENING OF INQUEST An inquest was opened before Mr. F. K. Hunt, S.M., coroner, this afternoon into the death of Bertral Thomas Brown,e who died in the Auckland Hospital yesterday following an accident on Tuesday. The body was identified by the father of deceased, Mr. R. F. Browne, a carpenter, of 47 Williamson's Avenue, Grey Lynn. Witness said his son, who was 15 years of age, was employed as a hawker. According to the police statement, Browne was involved in a collision when riding his bicycle early on Tuesday evening. I-Ie received head injuries and died at the Auckland Hospital at 9 p.m. on the following- day. ’
