SUPER LAND-TAX APPEALS
COMMISSION FRAMING REPORT From Our Resident Reporter WELLINGTON, Today. The. investigations by the commission appointed to inquire into appeals by landowners against super land-tax assessments on the grounds of hardship, has completed its work and is now framing a final report. The commission has heard 585 appeals and remissions of taxation totalling about £IOO,OOO have been recommended and approved. The tax is now expected to bring in about £250,000.
