MERCY RECOMMENDED

FATHER’S FIGHT WITH SON A strong recommendation to on account of his suffering from neurasthenia, was made by the jury in the Supreme Court late yesterday afternoon, in convicting Ernest William Armstrong, of breaking and entering. with intent to commit a crime. The jury found Armstrong not guilty on a further charge of assaulting his son.

The offence occurred on the night of April 11. when Armstrong, armed with a razor, broke into the house of his wife, from whom he had been separated that day. A desperate strugelo iollowfcd between father and son. Tho prisoner was remanded until tomorrow for sentence.
