FIRE AT WEYMOUTH

BEACH COTTAGE DESTROYED A furnished three-roomed beach cottage at Weymouth, owned by Mrs. George Osborne. Hill Road. Manurewa, was totally destroyed by fire just prior to one o'clock yesterday morning. The outbreak was first noticed by Mr. Bayliss, a neighbour, but nothing could be done, as the flames had a strong hold, and no water supply was available.

The house was insured for £l5O. and the furniture for £SO, both in the State Fire Office.
