IVORY SATIN-CLAD BRIDE IS ATTENDED BY SISTERS IN BRIAR ROSE
DONALDSON—HARRY The marriage was celebrated at St. Matthew’s Church of Francis Alice Rose, third daughter of Mrs. Harry and the late Mr. N. Harry, of Portage Road, New Lynn, to Robert Henry, eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. S. Donaldson, of Newmarket. The ceremony was performed by Canon Grant Cowen. The bride entered the church on her brother’s arm, wearing an ankle-lengtli frock of white satin, with a deep lace flounce cut on uneven lines. Her tulle veil, caught to the head by a wreath of small blossoms, formed a long train, and was bordered with honiton lace. She carried a white shower bouquet. Miss Gwladys and Miss Ethel Harry, sisters of the bride, attended as bridesmaids. They wore frocks in replica of briar rose pink georgette, inset with pink lace. Their hats were of pink panne velvet, and they carried shower bouquets. Miss Audney Fellowes, the bride’s niece, was flower-girl, and wore a frilled ankle-length frock of powder blue georgette, with a panne velvet hat to tone. She carried a gold basket of pink and blue blooms. Master Harry Ziegler, as pageboy, wore a white satin jumper suit. Mr. Harold Burnett attended the bridegroom as best man, with Mr. John Holmes as groomsman. A reception was held in the Domain Tea Kiosk, where Mrs. Harry received her guests wearing a dress of navy blue satin, with a hat to tone. Her bouquet was of autumn tinted flowers. The bridegroom’s mother chose navy blue , crepe de chine, witli a hat to match. _ The bride’s- going-away costume was of fawn, with a hat of the same colour.
