GIFT PLANE ARRIVES
FIRST FOR WELLINGTON CLUB CHRISTENED AT RONGOTAI From Gur Resident Reporter WELLINGTON, Today. The Simmonds-Spartan airplane presented to the Wellington Aero Club by the “Evening Post” arrived at Wellington yesterday from Sockburn, piloted by Captain Stedman, with Mr. J. Wallace, a member of the club’s committee, as passenger. The plane was welcomed by Mr. T. C. A. Hislop, president of the ciub and by the Mayor of Wellington Mr G. A. Troup. It was christened shortly after it landed at the Rongotai_ Airdrome by Mrs. Walter Blundell.
