STRUCK MATCH ON PETROL LORRY NOW IN HOSPITAL Press Association CHRISTCHURCH, Monday. When a six-year-old boy, Joseph Harding, was sitting on a petrol lorry which was filling the tanks of a service station at the corner of Fitzgerald Avenue and Ferry Road, he struck a match. The fumes were ignited and he was seriously burned on the legs, face and hands. He was removed to the Christchurch Hospital. His condition is serious.
