CAR ROLLS 300 FEET
COLLISION ON HILLSIDE WOMAN BADLY HURT Press Association NAPIER, Sunday. . After colliding with another car on Taupo road, a car containing Mr. Walter Edwin Brightwell, farmer, of Tauranga, his wife, two daughters and three sons, rolled 300 ft down a slope. Mrs. Brightwell suffered serious injuries and is in a grave condition in the Napier Hospital. Her daughters, aged four and 16 respectively, were also taken to hospital, but their injuries are not serious. Mr. Brightwell and his three sons were practically uninjured.
