KITCHEN EVENING
PARTY FOR BRIDE-ELECT ATTRACTIVE DECORATIONS A most enjoyable kitchen evening took place at St. George’s Hall recently, in honour of Aliss E. Davies and Air. G. Cooper, who are shortly to be married. Tho hall was attractively decorated with gold and black streamers, and largo bowls of arum lilies and rambler roses. The hostesses were Alesdames A. G. Baddelev, A. W. Alelvor and Aliss D. Barnes. Airs. Baddeley was wearing a frock of black crepe de chine. Airs. Alelvor wore black silk lace and georgette, with a shawl of black crepe de chine. Aliss D. Barnes was in a frock of eau de nil crepe de chine and silver lace, with a shawl to tone. Aliss E. Davies had chosen a shell pink crepe de chine frock, with a shawl of the same shade. Among those present were: Airs. Otto, who wore a frock of navy satin beaute: Airs. Fitzgerald, black velvet and georgette and apricot shawl: Airs. Waddington, black marocaine; Airs. Davies, green crepe de chine and posy; Airs. Jones, shell pink georgette; Airs. Aubert V. Crook, black and silver beaded georgette; Airs. J. Smith, black floral silk and shawl; Arrs. G. A. Nield, black c.repe de chine and georgette; Airs. E. Skipworth, black satin, with green trimmings: Airs. W. Hurley, flame figured silk and shawl to match; Airs. J. Cooper, blue silk jumper suit; Airs. Cammell, beige silk maroeain; Airs. Celia Elie. black taffeta, with diamente girdle: Aliss E. Brown, cyclamen taffeta and silver lace, with shawl to tone; Aliss Doris Smith, shell pink crepe de chine, with lace overdress and shawl; Aliss Jean Otto, fawn georgette and gold shawl. Aliss Edna Otto was in floral taffetn; Aliss Eileen Crook, blue shot taffeta, with lace overskirt; Aliss P. Snow, cream satin, with floral spray; Aliss I. Francis, green georgette, with shawl to tone; Aliss D. Lilly, peach crepe de chine; Aliss AI. King, floral ninon, with shawl: Aliss N. Johnston, sky blue beaded georgette: Aliss Wheeler, lemon fuji; Aliss Swinburn, ivory ring velvet and pink posy; Aliss E. Nield, lemon georgette, with uneven hemline; Aliss AI. Nield, eau de nil crepe de chine; Aliss E. Voity, cyclamen crepe de chine, with lace overskirt and shawl to match; Aliss Ena Voity, lettuce green taffeta, with shawl to tone; Aliss J. Hurley, peach crepe de chine; Aliss R. Hurley, rose georgette; Aliss Gladys Fitzgerald, apricot georgette and satin, with blue and silver trimming!?, and uneven hem; Aliss Una Ussher, scarlet chenille georgette; Aliss N. Llewellyn, cyclamen shaded georgette, with gold metal lace; Aliss J. Alurphy, bois de rose crepe de chine and lace; Aliss AI. Alurpliy, nil crepe de chine and lace; Aliss F. Cammell, pink satin, with lace overskirt.
