SOCIAL EVENING
GREY LYNN LEAGUE OF MOTHERS BRANCH ENJOYABLE PROGRAMME The Grey Lynn branch of the League of Mothers held a social in the Gaiety Hall last evening. Tho hall was brightly decorated with coloured streamers and balloons. During the evening monologues were contributed by Aliss Smith, Airs. Forrest, Aliss Gourdie and Air. Vaughan. Vocal items were given by Airs. Sibbon, Aliss AlcCallay and Alessieurs Young. Aliss Rita Lewis acted as accompanist. Among those present were: Airs. Jean Boswell, in black and floral georgette; Airs. Hynes, black satin beaute with fuschia spray; Airs. S. Fletcher, black brocade with chiffon scarf; ATrs. J. Gullum, shell pink crepe de chine; Mrs. G. Horn, rose crepe de chine with beige lace; Airs. J. Buchanan, . shell pink georgette with floral spray; -Airs. Cullum, figured crepe do chine, shoulder spray to tone; Airs. J. Penman, figured crepe de chine with ecru lace; Airs. AV. Taylor, marine blue valveteen, diamente trimming; Airs. A. Halls, black georgette and lace. Airs. C. Holmes, beige crepe de chine and ecru lace; Airs. A. J. Alarter, blue frilled georgette; Miss ID.
