DISPLAY OF GAS COOKERS

There is no surer way to attract public interest than by arresting window displays, because every woman sees herself in imagination mirrored in the "picture” shown. One of the most interesting displays to be seen in many Auckland windows at present are those arranged by the “Champion” Gas Cooker people. Each window display is life size, in clear colours, and shows various operations of looking after, cleaning and cooking on the “Champion.” The displays show the convenience, efficiency and cleanliness of this cooker, and each figure is reproduced exactly in a series of newspaper advertisements* —5.
