LEAGUE MANAGER HURT
MR. SUNDERLAND KNOCKED DOWN BY MOTOR-CAR United P.A. —By Telegraph—Copyright LONDON, Saturday. An accident occurred to the manager of the Australian League football team, Mr. Sunderland, after the match against Oldham today. He was alighting from a motor-coach outside a club where an official dinner was to be held when he was caught by a passing motor-car and cut about the forehead. A doctor rendered first aid in the street, after which the injured man was speedily taken to hospital. There it was found necessary to insert several stitches in the wound, which is not regarded as serious.
