ANNUAL SMOKE CONCERT
POWER BOARD SOCIAL CLUB The Auckland Electric-Power Board Social Club’s annual smoke concert was held in the social hall. Quay Street, on Saturday evening, Mr. D. "Wolf presiding over a large attendance. The chairman welcomed those present, and Mr. T. Bloodwortli, a member of the board, also spoke. The concert was the most successful the club has held. Toasts were honoured, and an enjoyable musical programme arranged by Mr. W. J. Meredith was given by the following artists: Messrs. O. Beck, A. McSkimming, J. McMinn. W. Foreshawe, L. Bickerton. G. Chevis, lE. Poole, J. Marts, S. Kindly. K. Raynes, W. J. Meredith. Samuels and Dali. Mr. W. Purcell acted as accompanist.
