RIALTO AND REGENT, EPSOM
“THE WHIRL OF LIFE”
‘ ; Tlie Whirl of Life*’ is now the attraction at the Rialto and Regent (Epsom) Theatres. This picture has been taken very favourably by all audiences, and is certainly one that can be recommended to those who wish for a good night’s entertainment. The story commences in a small town, where a family are under the tyrannical rule of a man who is ad- : dieted to drink. In a quarrel the girl kills him, and flees to England. She becomes acquainted with two trapeze artists, who both fall in love with her. Finally it is found out. that the murder tos been satisfactorily explained, and she is free to marry the one she loves. It is very exciting as well as unusual, and stars several talented players, including Louis Lercli, Henry George and Fay Malten. “Modern Marriage,” which is the second feature, is an unconventional tale of matrimonial troubles, starring Betty Bronson and Alec B. Francis. Lola Lane and Paul Page, who scored strongly on their talking picture debut in “Speakeasy,” are to be reunited in a Fox Movietone production. They will play the leads in ' "The Girl From Havana.”
