WOMAN INJURED

MOTOR-CAR COLLIDED WITH TRAM A woman driver, Mrs. E. E. Hain, of Massey Road, Mangere, had to be taken to hospital as the result of injuries received when her motor-car collided with a tram at Anzac Avenue shortly after 3 o’clock yesterday afternoon. The tramear. driven by Mr. E. A. J. White, was inward hound from Great South Road. The impact was so severe that the whole of the fore part of the motor-car was driven in. The windscreen was shattered, and the front wheels and the steering wheel were broken. The woman driver suffered from severe shock and cuts made by flying glass. The front of the tramear was slightly dinted.
