PARKING PROBLEMS
S.M. SUGGESTS SOLUTION (Prom Our Own Correspondent) HAMILTON, Friday. Traffic congestion caused by ser-vice-cars and buses in Victoria Street lias become chronic latelv, and in the opinion of Mr. Wyvern Wilson. S.M.. only vigilance on the part of inspectors will solve the problem. Mr. Wilson stated in the Magistrate’s pourt today that service-car companies should have garages provided for parking, and not use the main street. He supported the action of the borough council In enforcing its by-laws. Local bodies, he said, were facing the parking problem and they would certainly have the co-op-eration of the court. Edward Clifford, Gieson Vernon, A. G. McKenzie and George H. Reid, all charged with parking cars near the middle of the road, were ordered to pay 30s costs.
