RIFLE SHOOTING
PAEROA CLUB’S PROGRESS WELLS' TROPHY RESULTS An excellent night’s shooting under the auspices of the Paeroa Defence Miniature Rifle Club took place at the Paeroa Drill Hall on Wednesday evenih*?. when the handicap competition for the trophy donated by Mr. R. During the evening Capt. IT. Simmonds registered another possible off the rifle, making the sixth possible to his credit for the season. Fourteen competitors succeeded in reaching the 100, which necessitated them shooting off, the result being:—E. Mead, 06, 5—100; D. Currie, 93, 7—100; M. Charlesworth. 93, 19—100; Capt. 11.
