Under the Hammer PROPERTY SALES AND PRICES
When Messrs. Rutherford, Robinson and Austin offered for sale today a property in Wright's Road, Point Chevalier, containing a house situated on a section of 23.3 perches, it was bought in by the mortgagee at £SSO. At their auction rooms this morning, Palethorpe and Parkes sold a property containing 17 perches, and situated in Crummer Road, for £7OO. It was bought in by the mortgagee. A ■warehouse situated on the corner of Halsey and Madden Streets, and of approximately 50ft by 105 ft, was also sold by the same firm of auctioneers for £3,000. A section at Devonport, 80ft by 150 ft, with a frontage to Shoal Bay, was sold without reserve by Palethrope and Parkes for £SO. This afternoon Messrs. Samuel Vaile and Son offered at auction a section at No. 2S Victoria Avenue, Remuera, containing a two-storeyed house. After good bidding it changed hands at £2,850.
