PLUNKET SOCIETY

MORRINSVILLE SUB-BRANCH The ninth annual meeting of the Morrinsvillo sub-branch of the Flunket Society, held recently, disclosed a satisfactory state of affairs. The report states that the past year has been a successful one. A total of 2,103 visits were paid to the Plunket Room, this being an Increase of 294 over last year’s figures. The balance sheet shows that all liabilities have been met and that a credit balance remains. The thanks of the society were tendered to all those who directly or indirectly contributed to the success of the society’s work during the year. The following were elected for the ensuing year:—President, Mrs. F. J. Marshall: secretary. Mrs. P. Petry; treasurer, Mrs. J. Boles; committee Mesdames J. J. Scales, J. H. Wyatt’ W. Butler and L. E. Pole.
