TO BUY BONELESS VEAL
FEDERATION FORMED PROSPECTS FOR SEASON Press Association WELLINGTON, Today. A Dominion conference which met at Wellington to consider a scheme to deal with boneless veal, cull cows, and bulls, pigs and other products of the dairy farm, decided to form a federation to be called Dominion Co-opera-tive Farm Products. Its objects are to organise and control a pool, and the market products mentioned on the one-seller principle for the whole Dominion.
A management committee was set up as follows: —Messrs. J. Fisher (Southland), S. G. G. Lye (Waikato), C. Dickie (Taranaki), and A. Morton (Taranaki). It was resolved to pay an interim advance on boneless veal of 7s without recourse to first-grade calves. It is expected the federation will deal with 250,000 calves during the current season. It was decided to encourage the sale of boneless veal on the local market on a parity with London prices.
