MODEL GOWN

Hamilton Bride’s Attendants Wear Picturesque Frocks At St. Andrew’s Church, Hamilton, a very pretty wedding took place on Tuesday, when Emily, youngest daughter of Mr. W. McConnell and the late Mrs. McConnell, of Orini, was married to Fred, only son of Mr. and Mrs. Richmond, of Matamata. The Rev. Gilbert performed the ceremony. THE bride, entering the church on the 1 arm of her father, made a charming: picture in her model gown of ivory chenille georgette, the skirt having many points of plain georgette, forming an uneven hemline. Sprays of orange blossom were arranged at the shoulder and on the skirt. The heavily embroidered net veil, which formed the train, was held in place by a coronet of pearls and orange blossom. Her bouquet of pale pink and white flowers completed a dainty toilette. Miss Gibson, niece of the bride, attended as bridesmaid, wearing a picture frock of pastel pink georgette and silver lace. The bodtee was tight-fit-ting, while the uneven skirt comprised two tiers of silver lace over the georgette, and a large pink taffeta hipbow. Hound her head she wore a circlet of silver leaves with a pink tulle bow at one side. She carried a bouquet to tone with the ensemble. FLOWER-GIRL IN BLUE Little Phyllis Downie, niece of the bridegroom, and Stanley Calder, nephew of the bride, acted as flowergirl and page-boy respectively.
