BRIDGE PARTY AT TE AWAMUTU

A very pleasant pa~ty was given recently by Mrs. Richard Kay, at her , home in Wairaka, for some of her j bridge playing friends. Mrs. Kay’s frock was a flowered ! crepe d.e chine. Her drawing-room was delightful with bowls of primroses and violets and vases of wattle. Her guests were: Mrs. J. O’Sullivan, Mrs. J- Oliphant. Mrs. C. 11l un dell. Mrs. N. Walker (Parahi), Mrs. Hibbard. Mrs. W. Jeffrey, Mrs. C. G. Downes. Mrs. 1- Chamberlain, Mrs. X. Lethbridge. Mrs. R. Lord. Mrs. L. Peake, Miss S. Empson and Miss Syine. Mrs. O’Sullivan received a prize for the highest score.
