ART UNION DRAWN
ONEHUNGA MAN’S SUCCESS
The Auckland Game Fowl Club’s show concluded at the Municipal Hall, Newmarket, last evening, when the art union conducted with the permission of the Minister of Internal Affairs, the Hon. P. A. de la Perrelle, was drawn. Tho winner of the first prize, an oil painting valued at £4 4s, was Mr. W. T. Court, Onehunga. Following is the result of the draw: Second prize, £4 4s oil painting, Mr. Mackay, Bayswater. Third prize, £3 3s antique copper fruit stand, Mr. J. L. Llewellyn, Birkenhead. Fourth prize, £2 2s antique silver fern pot, Mr. T. H. Chapman, 32 Hayden Avenue, One Tree Hill. Fifth prize, £2 2s antique copper fern pot, Mr. A. Pascoe, Masonic Club, Auckland. Sixth prize, '£l 10s antique brass fern pot, Mr. J. C. Wilson, Commercial Hotel, Hamilton. Seventh prize, £1 10s worked silk electric-light shade, Mr. J. O. Perrson, Miro Street, New Lynn. Eighth prize, £ 1 antique copper rose bowl, Mr. G. A. Armitage, Richmond Avenue, Grey Lynn. Ninth prize, £1 hand-beaten and hammered brass tray, Mr. Maunsell, Waharoa. Tenth prize, 15s antique copper fruit dish, Mrs. Smeeton, 52 Mount Smart Road, Onehunga.
