KITCHEN AFTERNOON FOR BRIDE-TO-BE Airs. T. P. Lemon, of Te Puke, was hostess at a kitchen afternoon for Aliss Clara Cannell, who is shortly to be married. Mrs. Lemon received in a smart frock of flowered silk with uneven hemline. The bride-elect looked charming in flowered crepe de chine. The drawing-room was decorated with large bowls of arum lilies, and the big log fire added an air of cheeriness to the room. The Shakespearian competition was won by Airs.
